Dirot Kadirah (Indramayu, West Java, 1972) Born in Indramayu, West Java, 21 February 1972. He was raised in the family of fisherman in northern sea of Java (pantura). His painting career started when he travelled to Bali in 1992.

In Bali, he learned painting under maestro painter Affandi and Sudarso. During he stay in Bali he managed to sell his works to art collectors and galleries which then made him decide to fully concentrate his passion in painting.
