    Eberhard Schlotter was a German painter and graphic artist who studied at the Munich academy and the Doerner Institut. He turned to cubism after the war but soon developed his own style that secured him many commissions. He was the dean of the 'Neue Darmstädter Sezession' until 1957 and accepted a professorship at the Mainz university in 1980. He won the Villa Massimo award in 1990/91. His artwork style was characterized by cubism and his own unique style, and he worked with painting and graphic art. He is known for his contributions to the art world in the 20th century.
