  • Biography

    Edith Maskey is a native San Antonian and has loved art for as long as she can remember. "Painting is the finest form of expression I know, and it is my personal statement about things around me. Hopefully, my paintings have conveyed my emotions. I feel it is the most sincere means of communication." Her work is characterized by a love of color and exuberance of expression.

    Although her subject matter is highly varied, Mexico, Texana, and people bear a special preference. Five years of study with Warren Hunter of San Antonio, and subsequent workshops with some of the finest artist in the country have brought this artist closer to her goal of being as good an artist as she can be.
