    Friedrich Edmund Körner was a German painter born in 1873 in Dresden. He studied at the Dresden Academy under Gotthard Kuehl and later trained at the Academy in Munich with Paul Höcker. Körner was a member of various art associations, including the Dresden artists' association "Mappe," the Dresden Secession, and the General German Art Cooperative. He was known for his landscape, portrait, architecture, and genre paintings. Körner was active in Dresden and participated in various art exhibitions in Berlin and Dresden. He died after 1949, but the exact year is not known.
