Friedrich Edmund Körner was a German painter born in 1873 in Dresden. He studied at the Dresden Academy under Gotthard Kuehl and later trained at the Academy in Munich with Paul Höcker. Körner was a member of various art associations, including the Dresden artists' association "Mappe," the Dresden Secession, and the General German Art Cooperative.
