    Eduardo Sánchez Solá was a Spanish artist who specialized in oil paintings depicting scenes of altar boys in Andalusian churches. He was born in Spain and trained at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts under Alejandro Ferrant and Luis Taberner. Sánchez Solá was a professor at the School of Arts and Crafts in Granada and contributed to the art magazine "La Ilustración Española y Americana." He participated in various National Exhibitions of Fine Arts and received several awards and honors for his work. Known as "the painter of the altar boys," he captured the expressiveness and movement of children in his paintings.
