    The sculptor, Einar Utzon-Frank was born on March 30, 1888, in Copenhagen and attended the Academy as a pupil of Henrik Grönvold. In 1908 Utzon-Frank spent some time in Paris, he also traveled Germany and Italy in the 1910s, later repeatedly Greece and England. In 1918 Utzon-Frank became a professor at the academy in Copenhagen.

    His art was strongly influenced by Greek-Archaic sculpture and the Italian Renaissance. Since 1939 he was a member of the Academy Stockholm. Throughout his life Utzon-Frank has received numerous awards and medals, including in 1925 the honorary diploma or Paris and in 1944 the Thorvaldsen medal.
