Emilio Tadini (Milan, 5 June 1927 - Milan, 25 September 2002) was an Italian painter, writer and essayist, president of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts from 1997 to 2000. After graduating in Literature at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Tadini began his literary activity at just 20 years in the magazine Elio Vittorini's Politecnico in 1947 where he published La passione secondo Matteo and won the Serra prize with the jury Montale, Solmi and Muscetta. Since then he never interrupts his passion for writing and publishes essays, novels, poems and monologues.
