    Emmy Meyer was a German artist who attended the painting school of the Association of Berlin Female Artists in Berlin. She met Paula Becker there and followed her to Worpswede in 1898. Meyer settled permanently in Worpswede and took lessons from Otto Modersohn. She was known for her landscape paintings in the Worpswede style, which often featured moors, birch tree avenues, meadows criss-crossed by streams, and the wide, deep sky
