In 1985 he exhibited at Gucci's Gallery in New York and in the same year he had his first retrospective exhibition at the Rotonda della Besana in Milan. From 2002 to 2005 he produced a series of portraits, intense and dramatic, inspired by John Paul II. Throughout his artistic career he has received numerous prestigious awards.
