  • Biography

    Erich Koch acquired his technical skills at the master school for craftsmen in Kaiserslautern. After World War II he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Josef Henselmann, where he was also a full professor of sculpture from 1975 to 1990.

    Koch has made numerous public commissioned works such as the concrete relief with honeycomb structures at the master school for craftsmen in Kaiserslautern and has received many awards, including the Palatinate Prize for plastic in 1962.
