    Erik Gamble (1950 – 2007)

    A prominent Canadian painter and printmaker, Erik Gamble was born in Toronto and lived his whole life there and in its environs. His works were featured in several important group exhibitions and his paintings and prints are in the permanent collections of numerous museums. (1)(2)

    His mediums included oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, graphite, serigraph*, woodcut*, and mixed mediums. He is best known for his pure abstractions; the subjects thus being color, shape, line and texture.
