Erno Tibor was born in Oradea, who was often sung by Ady and had a vibrant cultural life, at the same time as the first generation of the West. At the beginning of the 20th century he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Pest at Tivadar Zemplényi. With his restless nature, he did not stay at home for long, he spent the 1906 and 1907 years – at the time of the fauve explosion – at the famous Julian Academy in Paris, with a scholarship from the city on the banks of the Körös River. Here he painted the portrait of his friend Endre Ady and the cityscape that was being examined.
