    Ernst Johan Zeuthen was a Danish painter and graphic artist. He studied and worked as a naval architect in Gothenburg in 1903; took drawing lessons from Agnes Jensen in the years 1908-09; and registered to Artist's Free Study Schools by Johan Rohde in 1909.

    He exhibited for the first time in the 1912 Autumn Exhibition where he won a gold medal and was invited to exhibit at the royal palace. During working trips to Italy, France, Norway and Switzerland, and while stationed as a naval architect in the United States, (1906 - 1908), Zeuthen developed and rose as a painter known for color field landscapes and Italian views.
