    A reclusive outsider artist, Eugene Von Bruenchenhein lived near Milwaukee, and over the course of 40 years produced thousands of paintings and sculptures in a musty cellar. A plaque over the kitchen door of his house read: "Eugene Von Bruenchenhein, Free Lance Artist, Poet and Sculptor, innovator, Arrow maker and Plant man, Bone artifacts constructor, Photographer and Architect Philosopher."     He covered every wall and surface and tucked many of them in much-less obvious places. They were quasi-abstract and colorful and included totems, miniature thrones made of dried chicken bones, tiny chairs, painted ceramic vessels, cast-concrete masks and erotic photographs of his wife whom he posed humorously to reflect models in girly ...
