He married Zelye Brocheton in 1880 and participated in exhibitions in France, Italy, Vienna, and London. Rossano returned to Portici in 1893 and later held the chair of painting at the Royal Academy of Drawing in Naples. He participated in the Venice Biennale from 1899 to 1905 and in 1910.
