About Fedor Theodore Kosloff

    Born in Russia on Jan. 22, 1882. Kosloff began a career in ballet after studying at Moscow's Imperial Theater. He arrived in the U.S. in 1909 and was introduced to Cecil B. DeMille who hired him to act in silent movies. In his leisure he painted as a hobby. He died in Los Angeles on Nov. 22, 1956.
