    He studied at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts in the years 1893 - 1898 and the Académie Julian in Paris in 1900. He settled in Rome in 1906. He visited Egypt. In 1908 he settled in Lviv.

    Naturalism and strong expression of his early works changed later to the realistic landscapes of the Italian and Ukrainian. In his work can also be found oriental scenes, nudes and portraits. He was the creator of the Lviv Chamber of Industry decoration - Commerce. Also he designed the stained glass windows, created theatrical sets and costumes....
