    Ferdinand Lepcke trained in the workshop of the Brothers Biber and at the School of Decorative Arts in Berlin. From 1883 to 1890, he attended the Berlin Academy. From 1888, he was a master student of Fritz Schaper. Since 1891, he was a member of the Verein Berliner Künstler [Association of Berlin Artists], and in 1905, he became a professor.

    Works of Ferdinand Lepcke are for instance in the collection of the Hermitage in Saint Petersburg and on display in public spaces, including the ‘Bogenspannerin’ [Female Archer] at the Kolonadenhof of the Alte Nationalgalerie in Berlin. (cko)...
