    Ferdinand Staeger was born in 1880 Trebitsch. He became a painter, graphic artist, illustrator, and craftsman. From 1894-96 he was a student of the College of Textile Design Brno and studied from 1896-1902 at the School of Applied Arts in Prague. In 1903 he had a stay in Vienna; from 1904-08 stayed in Prague; and from 1908 was in Munich. Ferdinand Staeger was a resident employee of the magazine "Youth" and during the First World War was an artist in kuk war press headquarters. Staeger held exhibitions in the Glass Palace Munich and was a member of the Munich Artists' Association. In 1957 he was in Waldkraiburg and was a resident represented in numerous collections, including Albertina Vienna, Graphic Collections in Munich.Thieme - Becker, Vollmer, Dressler, glass Palace catalogs and Internet...
