Filippo Biagioli was born on February 9, 1975 in Pistoia, Italy. He started his artistic activity during high school, drawing comics and cartoon characters, on cloth. He immediately became passionate about the meaning of tattoos, their ritual use, in the civilizations of origin and about their sign.

In 1997, due to a car accident he was forced to a very long convalescence. All this time forced in the house, Biagioli read, studied and approached by self-taught drawing on paper, pastels and then painting on canvas. He’s a great admirer of Jean Michael Basquiat’s Analphabet Art and of Art Brut. He began to paint taking inspiration from these currents, defining his own art “analphabetic”.
