    Florence Tricker (from a Woodmere Art Gallery exhibit catalog An Invited Exhibition by Eight Pennsylvania Artists in February of 1963)

    Florence Tricker was born in Philadelphia and received scholarships at the Philadelphia School of Design (Moore Institute) and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She also studied at the Tiffany Foundation, Oyster Bay, N.Y. and the Graphic Sketch Club, Philadelphia. Her teachers were painters Fred Wagner, Daniel Garber, Henry B. Snell, Elliot Daignerfield, William Lathrop and sculptors Albert Laessle, Charles Grafly and Samuel Murray.
