    Cesc (full name Francesc Bonamusa i Masó) was a Catalan artist born in an unknown year. He published his drawings in various Catalan newspapers and was known for his cartoons, paintings, and engravings. He held exhibitions of his work since 1943 and won various awards, including the Cross of Sant Jordi of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Gat Perich International Humor Prize of Honor. In 1998, he became a permanent member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi. He stopped publishing jokes in "Avui" in 1987 and devoted himself fully to painting and engraving
