He then became the director of the Academy of Brera. His most famous works include: the St. Catherine of Siena, located on the Tiber to Castel Sant'Angelo, the dying horse in front of the headquarters of the RAI, and the Monument to Pope Pius XII in St. Peter's Basilica.
