    Cloonan, Francis Austin (Frank). 1865-1950. San Antonio. Muralist, decorative painter, merchant.

    Cloonan was born in Ireland and came to San Antonio about 1908. There he sold paint supplies

    under the trade name Cloonan and Osborn. In the 1920's, he executed decorative paintings in San Antonio churches.

    He died in a San Antonio hospital and was buried in the city.

    Exhibitions: Texas Artists Exhibition, San Antonio Art League 1926); San Antonio Artists Guild (1927); San Antonio Local Artists Annual Exhibition (1930, 1933-35, 1943); River Art Group, San Antonio (1948-50).
