    Born in 1912, Frantisek Emler was a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and a student of professor Otakar Nejedlý.

    Emler became a graphic artist, draftsman, illustrator and set designer. His work was influenced by the work of old masters and foreign trips to Italy and France.

    Frantisek Emler's work has been represented in the collections of the National Gallery, the Gallery of the Capital City of Prague, and more.
