    Franz Kaisermann, also known as François Keizermann or Francesco Kaisermann, was a watercolor painter who moved to Rome in 1789. He worked under the guidance of Louis Ducro and settled in Rome in 1797 after a six-year stay in Naples. Kaisermann created numerous Roman views, including ruins, waterfalls of Tivoli, and patrician villas in the Alban Mountains. His watercolors, signed "Keizermann," gained popularity among distinguished travelers to Rome and attracted many admirers, including notable figures such as Prince Frederick of Saxe-Gotha and Grand Duke Michael.
