    Franz Windhager (1879-1959 Vienna) studied at the Vienna Academy and later in Karlsruhe. He was a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus and was known for his work as a painter and illustrator, including illustrations for works such as Grillparzer's "The Poor Musician" in 1913.
