    Frederlic Evans was active in London between 1886-1928 as a painter of genre scenes with watercolour. He first exhibited at the Royal Academy in London in 1891.

    Frederick was the son of the artist Henry McNamara Evans and having studied in London, he moved to Penzance, where he joined the Newlyn School of artists and painted the local fisherfolk.
