    Frederico Pereira Alves. He was born in Lisbon in 1887 and died in the same city in 1963. He attended the Lisbon School of Fine Arts. Disciple of Carlos Reis, proving to be a brilliant student, which is why he was given the school awards «D. Carlos” and “Annunciation”.

    He competed at the Panama, Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona and Amsterdam Exhibitions. Classified with a gold medal at the Regional Exhibition and two by the National Society of Fine Arts. His works are characterized by the excellent use of color, creating soft environments enveloped in the mists of dawn or dusk.
