    Born Friedrich Köhler, Fritz lived from 1887 Moritzberg in Hildesheim until 1972 Dusseldorf. German landscape and marine painter, Fritz spent his youth in Hamburg, and from 1905-07 he was a student at the Kunstgewerbeschule Hamburg-Altona. Fritz studied from 1909-12 at the Academy Weimar with Max Thedy and was a master student of Theodor Hagen.

    Since 1913 Kohler was active in Dusseldorf-Oberkassel, credited with the exhibitions of the Art palace Dusseldorf, and the Great Berlin Art exhibitions from 1938-1944. Kohler presented at the Great German Art Exhibitions at the house of German Art in Munich and the Kunsthalle Hamburg. Kohler was a member of the National Association of visual Artists of Germany, and the artist Malk_Thieme-Becker, Vollmer, Dressler and Wikipedia_...
