    Geoffrey Jenkinson, a landscape painter, he was born in Leeds, England in 1925, he came to the U.S. in the 1960s and died early 2006. Geoffrey Jenkinson studied at Pudsey Technical College. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Cambrian Academy. Geoffrey Jenkinson was taught by Frederick Cecil Jones at the Keighley Art College, both artists have a graphic quality to their work, capturing the character of many of the old West Riding of Yorkshire Mill Towns & Coalfield towns, their early work is very precisely drawn with great accuracy to detail.
