    George Finch Mason was an English sporting artist, author, and illustrator who specialized in humorous studies and caricatures. He was born in an unknown year and was educated at Eton from 1860-64. He contributed to several books and was a frequent contributor to publications such as The Sporting Times and Punch. Some of his notable works include Humours of the Hunting Field, Flowers of the Hunt, and Heroes and Heroines of the Grand National. He flourished in the 19th and early 20th century.
