    George Agnew Reid (AKA: G.A. Reid) was an important and influential Canadian painter, muralist, printmaker, educator and leader in the national art community. He was President of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts*, President of the Ontario Society of Artists*, Principle of the Ontario College of Art, and one of the first Canadian artists to have an international reputation.
