  • Biography

The following is from Norm Walker:

The paintings I have/had (7 originally) were given to me by my father
who obtained them in an estate sale in Brooklyn in the 1950s. He was a branch manager of a bank at the time and knew the family. George's father had invented an embalming fluid and became moderately wealthy for the time. As a result George could pursue his painting as he wished (not having to make a living at it). Most of his work is of locations on Long Island ie. Southport etc.

My father donated several paintings of various sizes to the Wyoming County
Hospital in Warsaw, NY. I assume they are still there. As I remember some
were large. Many are of boat/water scenes as you would find on the shores
    of easter...

    But wait, there's more...
