    Georges Conrad, born February 24, 1874 in Aubervilliers and died December 7, 1936 in Rouen, was a French illustrator.

    Son of a valet de chambre, he studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

    Active between 1900 and 1935, he illustrated numerous books for the Hachette and Fayard editions, as well as for the Journal des voyages.

    He illustrated over 100 postcards.

    He was a professor at the School of Fine Arts in Rouen and an officer of public education.

    He resided for a time in Val-de-la-Haye where he remarried in February 1936.

    He died at his home, 29 boulevard des Belges at Rouen.
