The following biography has been provided by ClaggettRey.com -
Gerald Fritzler and his wife moved to Mesa, Colorado in 1979. Today the Fritzler family, including two young daughters, enjoy small-town life in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
Many people believe that an artist responds exclusively to what is in front of him. In actuality, the creative process is a combined effort of planning ahead and responding to what's there. Gerald's maturity and self-confidence in this respect has taken him to that level.
In 1976, Gerald was accepted into the American Watercolor Society. Gerald has also shown in the Louisiana Watercolor Society show and is a member of the Midwest Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, the Rocky Mountain Water Media Society, the Salmagundi Club and most recently, the Northwest Rendezvous Group. In addition to showing with these organizations, Gerald is an avid traveler whose list of places visited includes Southeast Asia and the Far East, Canada and many European countries.
