    Ghass Rouzkhosh's youth was marked by conflict. At the outbreak of the Iranian Revolution, he was 15 years old. Later, he spent two years as a soldier fighting Iraqi troops, after which he emigrated to Paris.

    According to his own statements, he began painting as an autodidact to process his impressions of the war. His works are abstract and are limited to a narrow color palette. The motifs of coping with the crisis were expanded over time by observations of everyday life.
