    Gino Gori started painting very young and soon his work was noticed by Beppe Ciardi (1875-1932), who urged him to continue. Gori had his first exhibition in 1932, at the Society of Fine Arts in Florence, but he wasn't content with that first success and continued to study painting at the 'Accademia di Belle Arti' in Florence, under the guidance of Felice Carena (1879-1966).

    In 1935, with his second solo show at Gallery Florence, the painter was embraced not only by the public but also critics, who assiduously followed his activities - some called him Neo-Impressionist others compared his nudes to Renoir's.

    From the late 1940s, his rise was steady and he remained a pop...
