    Giuseppe Sacheri was an Italian painter born in Genoa who studied painting at the Accademia Albertina in Turin. He was awarded a prize in the competition for the academic year 1883-1884. Sacheri loved to travel and was struck by Flemish painting during his travels. He formed intimate friendships with the group of Painters of Sturla in Genoa and founded the Amici dell'Arte group in 1896. Sacheri's artwork style was landscape painting in the style of Jacob van Ruisdael and Meindert Hobbema.
