    From Quebec, Guy Montpetit is known for whimsical, fantasy inspired high-color field designs with acrylic and gouache. He also has done three-dimensional pieces and mural painting including a commission for Maison Radio Canada in Montreal, a city where he and his artwork benefitted from the one-percent ratio of new public building construction for artwork that would integrate with the architecture.

    Also utilizing his painting skills with color and happiness generating images, he worked with deaf and mute children to help them express through art what they cannot say with words.
