    The following information is from Robert Orfant, who wrote: This information was obtained from the personal papers of the artist and her parents that I purchased along with 15 bas reliefs. In looking through the artist's report cards I discovered that in high school she is listed as "Helen Christina Meade", but when she went to art school it appears that she dropped her first name. Some of the documents referred to her as "H. Christina Meade" and at other times just "Christina Meade".

    Born "Helen Day"October 2nd, 1915
    Adopted by Frank Douglas Meade & Christina Agnes (Dunn)Meade of Watertown, Mass. on June 5th 1919 and Helen's name was changed to Helen Christina Meade. Her parents lived at 49 Lovell Road in Watertown, Mass and they had a summer residence in Tamworth, NH near Mt. Chocorua.

    According to the Commencement Program from the Massachusetts School of Art from 1936 "H Christina Meade" was awarded a diploma for "Modeling & Sculpture"

    According to her obituary published in the Peterborough Transcript on January 8th, 2004

    She was married to William Boozer -(date unknown).
    She lived in Greenwich, CT until 1978 at which time she moved to the Monadnock Region of NH (Dublin).
    "She was a graduate of the Boston School of Music and had played in several orchestras while a student and after graduation....She had been employed as a draftsperson in Boston" and enjoyed sculpting, ceramics and playing the flute.
