About Henry Boese

  • Biography

    Henry Boese is known for his early Hudson River landscapes, and portrait work in New York City, 1844 - 1863. Mr. Boese exhibited at the National Academy of Design in 1847, 1857, 1859, and in 1863, he showed the painting "Scene on the Mohawk", NAD, v 1, no.69, p. 72.
