Hermann Keuth, born in 1907 in Saarland, Germany, was a painter and graphic artist. He studied at the Academy of Düsseldorf from 1907 to 1909 and later at the Academy of Munich with Peter von Halm from 1910 to 1911. Keuth worked as an art teacher and eventually became the museum curator of the Saarland in 1935. He went on to become the director of the Saarland Museum in 1936. In 1959, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his contributions to the arts.
