    Danish painter, Holger H. Jerichau (1861 to 1900 Copenhagen Copenhagen) was the son of Danish sculptor Jens Adolf Jerichau (1816-1883) and the German-Polish-Danish painter Elisabeth Jerichau-Baumann (1819-1881). His brother was painter Harald Jerichau (1851 -1878). His mother provided him with his first artistic training in Dusseldorf and continued to study abroad between 1886-87 at the school of Kristian Zahrtmann in Copenhagen. Jerichau subsequently led an unsettled, wandering life with stays in the Orient, in Italy, on Capri, in southern Russia, the Ukraine, in the Crimea, in Egypt and in India. Between 1885-86 he temporarily lived in Hirschholm (Hørsholm) operates on Zealand and later in Roskilde. In 1894, he return to Denmark beforeThieme-Becker, Bénézit , Weilbach and Wikipedia....
