Pan Honghai Born in Shanghai. He graduated from the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. In 1986, he was dispatched to Zhengjiang Painting Institute as a professional painter where he went on to become first vice rector and then rector. Currently, he is a national knight of the brush and has been merited with the honor of Outstanding Contribution of Expertise by the State Department as well as being a member of China Artists" Association. He has traveled twice to America, firstly in 1987 and also in 1988 for research purposes and to participate in exhibitions.
