    Ilse Tesdorpf-Edens was a German artist who was a member of the "Little Hamburg Artists' Circle" and the Gedok from 1948 to 1955. She specialized in landscape paintings of Holstein and the North/Baltic Sea, Hamburg views, flower still lifes, and portraits created in oil paintings and watercolors. Her style was characterized by tonal impressionistic painting in the plein air tradition of Thomas Herbst. She attended a private school and studied under A. Siebelist in Hamburg in 1912/13, and also went on study trips to Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, and France....
