    Ireneusz Pierzgalski is an artist from Poland who was associated with the artistic community in Lódz. He received his diploma in 1955 at the PWSSP in Lódz and remained connected with the State Film School and the Academy of Fine Arts. Pierzgalski worked in various techniques including drawing, painting, graphics, and photography. He was part of the "Piate Kolo" and "Nowa Linia" groups and exhibited his works at galleries like "Krzywe Kolo" in Warsaw. Pierzgalski is credited with coining the term "Art Hotel" in the 1970s to describe independent exhibition activities.
