Ireneusz Walczak deals with painting, drawing and graphics. In the 1980s he graduated from the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He holds the degree of full professor and runs a painting studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. Walczak's work has been repeatedly appreciated by critics and curators, and his works have taken part in many exhibitions in Poland and abroad. The artist's work has been presented at numerous art fairs, e.g. in Cologne, Frankfurt, Strasbourg, Hanover, Amsterdam and Basel.
