Ivan Chuikov, a Russian nonconformist, played an indispensable role in the movement of the 1960s. Chuikov has been noted for his daring nature in regards to technique and is constantly exploring new means of painting. Upon befriending other members of the underground art scene in Moscow, Chuikov began his pursuit of a career in art.
