Iwan Kulik was born in 1959 in Leszczivka. Kulik is a Ukrainian painter who works in oil painting, frescoes, mosaics, creates stained glass, sculptures and tapestries. In the years 1983-1989 he studied interior architecture and monumental painting at the Institute of Applied Arts in Kharkiv. In 1990 Kulik went to Poland and settled in Warsaw. About 4,000 works by the artist have been created since he settled in Poland. He paints series of oil paintings inspired by great historical and contemporary figures as well as artists and the mood of places.
